    First thing I would do is make sure all my playfield coils are soldered correctly. The solid color wire needs to be on the banded side of the diode.

    Rookie mistake. Made myself plenty of times in the day. Instant destruction when you reverse wire a coil like that. Probably a fried resistor too.
