Bally, 1974Working on a friends Rogo pin. when the game starts the lights on the playfield will come on but the upper box lights do not most of the time. I have cleaned the jones plugs on the upper and lower connectors. I have checked the schematics with out success. I would assume that there is a relay somewhere that controls the lights when a game is started. Any help would be appreciated.

Check the lock relay. There are 2 heavy duty contacts on that relay for the playfield lights and the backbox lights. Gently clean and adjust tension if necessary.
