Quoted from vid1900:

BAA only sold out of NOS Fireball Classic & II playfields sometime last year.
There were NOS Fireball Classic playfields at the OH show last month.

I'm talking about the real deal. I'd line up to get one.

They were the real deal.
NOS = New Old Stock.
Reproductions made by companies other than the original Bally are considered taboo by many collectors.

You said Fireball Classic and Fireball II. I'm talking about the EM Fireball. Man, say it ain't so!

Quoted from vid1900:

Fireball EM is probably the best EM there is!

There are easily a 1000 banged up Fireball playfields that could use a swap.

Classic has a playfield bonus and dreadlocks, as well.

Quoted from robotronjohn:

I would buy the EM Fireball playfield if they were remade... back glass was repro at one point. I bet if CPR did the plastics, playfields and back glass they would sell out fast....

I picked up a set of repro Fireball plastics off of Mr. Pinball. I believe they were from a small batch that David Gersic ran? If I recall, they're not as thick as the originals, but it was a very nice run and much needed on my end.

Quoted from BrianBannon:

Thinking about the skill shot portion and the way the wood curves up.

This is why it will never get repro'd. I've bent wood before and it isn't easy. It would have to be done before any art was applied to the playfield.

I know someone who has one of those too.
He always says he'll sell it to me for $2500, LOL.

NOS? That's actually good price for "the collector" out there! I'd be willing to bet that it may possibly be the only one out there.

For half of that, he'd have me possibly digging in my couch for some extra change.
