Not having an electrical background wondered if it matters which way a Bally Pop Bumper Socket is installed? Specifically e-120-25 sockets.

Nope. Lamps have no polarity, and the socket is basically just a lamp extension cable

Maybe not on modern games with leds, but if it uses an incandescant bulb, that's how it is.
