Hi to all,
I own a Playboy machine which although intact and in excellent condition throughout ,suffers from yellowing of the paint scheme (almost certainly due to tobacco smoke and possibly UV )
I have attempted to improve this with car polish etc ... but with only minor success.
Therefore i am considering restoring/repainting and i would appreciate any info. regarding the paint codes (black/white/purple )
Alternatively i could just leave as is -----as repainting over the original deco may affect the value ?
any advise appreciated ----thanks in advance

Will be interested in the info as well!

I think I used Barbie pink, satin black, and glossy white. Turned out nice, and nobody called me out on the colors

are you rolling or spraying? Some people match to the color of pink/purple in the backglass and the plastics or the pink in the playfield?

Unfortunately since Hugh Heffner died, his lawyers clamped down on trademarks. Pinball Pimp can't sell the stencil set any longer for it.

Closest color is Rust-Oleum ultra 2K Magenta in a spray can. Looks red in this pic but it is more pink.

Thanks for all those replies and great images
, however i am based in Europe so i would not have access to those spray items.
The Barbie pink certainly seems precise and there is a colour ref available .
initially i assumed that the colours were probably RAL references .
So the-
Purple/pink could be RAL 4006 or 4010. ,However the above the Barbie Pink recommendation now appears to be ideal.
Black 9005( jet black)
Regarding the White -Could this be an OFF White or a pure White Ral 9010 ?

Any thoughts about the possible devaluing from recovering/repainting over the original paint scheme ?
i attach an enclosed image that shows yellowing in comparison to a white sheet of A4 paper.

Quoted from gileswater:

Purple/pink could be RAL 4006 or 4010.

RAL 4006 will be a deeper Magenta (matches plastics/back glass better IMO); RAL 4010 is a bit pinker. 4010 More Pink than the plastics, but less pink than the playfield pinks. I went with 4010.

Nice!
I have a backglass I'm going to build a light box for.
Now who has some stencil scans/files for me?

Quoted from tomdrum:

This is pathetic. Hugh does not need the money where he is right now and can get all the girls he wants.
Problem is: he no longer has a dick to satiate his endless appetites.
