Ok I had this, issue a few months back on my 68 bally op popp popp machine.. game turns on everything but no playfeild gi or scoring lights in playfeild.. no special no nothing ? All coils,work.. slingshot s mushrooms ect .. back glass lights up scoring works but no playfeild anything lights ... I thought the problem was in the plugs .. but now the problem continues and I cannot trace the issue... I cleaned the anti cheat switches ect.. any clues ect on what to remedy this issue is very appreciated .. making me crazy .. lol

Also game did this,a few times in the past but I pulled the 3 main plugs interplay feild repeated and it seemed to go away.. also it would do this but soon as you started and hit a switch with the ball the 9layfeild would light..
Not at all now ?
Very odd ...

Well 3 am.
I'm beat.. hopefully someone can shed some light .. I'm sure it's linked threw the anti cheat but I have cleaned and made sure all the contacts are cleaned ..
Just odd it's all playfeild lights gi and score lights but backglass lights fine and play is,fine .. head scratcher...

Well I'll be dammed the fuses, all checked out but I decided to swap them out anyway just to rule out the easy first before going to bed ..and tada .

Not sure why but changing the fuses out did the trick even though they checked out..

The fuse or fuse holder could have been dirty. On most EM games corrosion occurs on the 2 parts.

Also original fuseholders on a Bally?
Replace them!
Most of the time they are bad...

Yep I had the same issue once and it bugged the hell out of me for a couple of weeks. I just took a file vigorously to the fuse holder and it solved the issue. Bally fuse holders are notoriously crappy. That's the most likely explanation.

Yup.. cleqned, filed and new fuse . 4 am was finally asleep thanx man..
Those em machines can be tricky.. but its part of it..

Bally fuseholders are total garbage. Replace them for sure & be done with it.
