Hello, I have an old Bally Nip It. It has not worked for I would say 20+ years. I had to fix most of the wires that were chewed going to both the backbox and to the playing field. I got the lights, one flipper, and the score reels to work. You could almost play a game even though the reset relay did not work. I went to plug it in one day like normal and it did all the things that it has done many times before. Toward the end of my work session on it, it did everything a EM pinball is supposed to do like resetting everything, saying you have 1 ball, ect. It did that for a second then it died. The only thing that works right now is the lights on the coin door. I checked all the fuses there fine, and I did replace the fuse holders. I don't know what I did or what the game did. If anyone knows what happened that would be much appreciated.

Quoted from phil-lee:

Check all your Tilts.

I have a couple of Ted Zale games, when I open the slam-tilts on those all the illumination goes out even the coin-door.

bally_pinball you think perhaps a solder joint came loose someplace on them fuse holders? can you manually actuate the either "hold-relay" or the "anti-cheat relay" to see if any other lights come on ?
