When (as) machine resets Ball one is on back glass
ball is kicked out and goes to ball two
rest of game plays fine
Can see the ball count stepper jump 2 steps as it does this

Ball runway I assume is trough switch which changes ball count
Not sure where this add a ball adjustment is see it all over the schematic
No idea what the circled in orange switch represents?

Credit or coin starts reset and ball 1 I shown on glass during reset, then first ball is kicked over trough switch advancing ball count to 2
99.9% of the time..........1% works as it should

Ah.........it is a rebound gate switch. It is OK

It WAS the rebound gate switch......it was closed and in your direction I see it was supposed to be N/O on your schematic.
