Hi beadwindow
I read MarkG 's post-14 --- small chance: You bought the pin - then You have adjusted the leg-levelers to make the playfield less steep - doing so the Ball-Roll-Tilt now (after You adjusted the levelers) actuates --- see here http://www.stevechannel.com/tiltmechanism.htm , last picture - the ball in Your pin has rolled towards "right in the picture" - the ball activates (closes) the Ball-Roll-Tilt-Switch (?).
