I am working on a Bally Midway Fireball classic.
The playfield is in a very bad shape.
I have managed to remove all of the metal parts except the one on the left.
This one is mounted with some special rivets (?).

How can i remove it without demaging the wood and the metal part?

Thanks in advance!

Stick a putty knife between the guide and the wood and pry them off. They are straight spiral nails. By the look of that game it will all need to be replaced/refurbished anyway. Might be the worst FC I've ever seen. No offense.

Should be short nails.
Bless you for restoring another one, love to see more pictures, this thing looks like its been through hades.

I have managed to remove it!
I had to use a bid screwdriver it was rosty as hell and holded liked a concrete wall.

Yeah you are right it went through hades

Actually i had bought two FBC both are in a terrible condition.
They were running in Finland (Helsinki) then shipped to Serbia when they get bored with lately a guy
in the Hungarian side of the border had bough it then i was the one who get it.
Unfortunately the machines were hold without glasses for years what made a very bad effect to the metal parts and painting.

I have decided not to slaughter then restore them.
I will see how it goes for me the tough part is the playfield painting but now there is a progress in this topic...
