I have bought a pile of NOS BG's and a few PF's over the years. Most NOS BG's & PF's were the 2nd's that had flaws that were pulled during production. That's probably explains the missing ink under the "Tilt" lettering and other spots. I had a Centaur NOS BG that had a dozen tiny flaws that were easily touched up since they were in unlit areas.
I always prefer a OE glass to a repro myself.
