I've got a Bally Lost World that I am stuck on. The outhole kicker coil fried at some point. I bought this machine from a fellow Pinsider and it worked great for 2 months or so.

Recently, the MPU was not booting. I worked through that and got it to boot. However, no solenoids. Playfield fuse was blown. A closer look shows it outfitted with a 5 amp fuse. Yikes! A reminder to check fuses no matter where the machine came from.

A closer look revealed a cooked coil. I put in a new coil and threw in a working solenoid board from another machine... the outhole kicker is still locked on. I also tried another coil from a working game, same result.

I've checked over the wiring and everything looks clean. Powered side wire strapped to lug of coil with banded diode.

Looking for other suggestions. Oddly the tip102s on both solenoid board check out ok.
