Quoted from Cherga:Hi, I'm considering going LED in my Kiss pin. Any advice on the "superbright" led kits on eBay? Is there a good, reputable resource to buy kits from?
I would recommend the "2 LED" bulbs that Comet sells. You don't need a kit, just buy either 50 white ones (they have a special on bulk packs) and colours if you want to colour match inserts.

Do not install superbright retina burning LEDS in a classic pin. They look ghastly. Your eyes will burn out, and your hair will catch fire, and your man parts will shrivel up.
LEDs will flicker in a classic Bally game, because LEDs don't have any resistance like normal bulbs do.
You will need to either:
1/ solder a resistor on each and every lamp holder
2/ buy the seigecraft LED adapter set for $40 (ish)
3/ buy a Alltek lamp board for $100 (ish)
I use the Seigecraft boards and they work very well.
