I just spoke with Mel over at The Pinball Gallery and it looks like they may do some Bally KISS backglass reproductions in-house. He mentioned he needs about 6 people or more to get the process started. I'm already 1 of 6 so if you need a Bally KISS backglass, please contact Mel (https://www.thepinballgallery.com/untitled) and let him know your full name and contact number ASAP so he can justify enough orders to go forward. The price will be $500 plus shipping for the backglass. It is going to be reproduced w/ mirror just like the original. He said "We're going to reproduce it like the original or there is no point doing it". There are no pre-orders, so no money out of pocket. Tell him Creagen sent you!

The only ones I've seen for sale for under $500 would be the German reproductions.

Surprised he's not asking $15,000.

How do you get a license to reproduce a Kiss backglass? I would think one from the band and one from PPS would be needed.

I would ask Mel. All I know is that he only needs about 6 people to get this ball rolling, so let's do it!

Paul Stanley is more than happy to license anything KISS to anybody for anything.

It's not like they sell albums anymore, so to make money, they have to sell their image.

How about KISS deodorant, so you can Kiss Him?

I'd consider buying one to use as an art piece if it was half that price.

I still don't understand why Kiss would be $500. I got my BK2000, which is mirrored for $250?????? Someone is getting greedy!

I wouldn't give $10 for one of the German ones.

If these new reproductions are as good as the regular IPB Kiss backglasses were, they will be worth $500.

I have one unused IPB Kiss backglass and a mint NOS Bally and wouldn't sell either for anything close to $500.

$500 is not an unrealistic price for a brand new properly CMYK and spot ink screened, mirrored backglass.

Any backglass made in extremely low quantities is going to cost this much easily from a business, outside of any of the most recognized reproducers, especially if artwork is required to be re vectored in illustrator.
I have had personal backglasses remade under this same industry standards, which otherwise would be non-existent.
Even after doing artwork corrections myself, it is still costly.
Making backglasses has started to become a "lost art".
People should feel happy, they even have reproduction backglasses available for any game.
However, I do not advocate "pre-orders" in most cases.
