    I want to know how this ball return from bally was attached in the machine. I want to use it as a kickback in a homebrew pinball. But Im not sure how they were attached, and how the ball is lying in it before shooting. In attachment some images of the assembly.

    The holes for screws are clear for me. But I asked myself for what these two rips for. I think you are right with that. Thanks a lot
