Here's a photo of my Hokus credit unit. All switches are closed. Three on my HP credit unit. Make sure they're bent forward enough as to not be affected by the posts.

Hopefully you sorted this out.

If not have you taken a look at the 2nd Player Interlock in the back box? Is it adjusted and functioning properly?

I would think it's your step unit in the back box not moving freely.

If your ball count step unit in the back box steps up once vs. twice (I know seems odd but on a 1 player game it steps up twice to bupass player 2) on a 1 player game then It's in a two player game.

You would think that this game would be more simplistic being two player. I'm finding mine more difficult to adjust than a four player.

When this machine is functioning properly. Definitely one of the favorite pins in my collection.
