They both should go to where the wire is connected , via that dodgy repair , you may need to extend the wire , Its the common wire i think ,
reel to reel on the same switch as the next , It probably just needs re-soldering to the tab , unless its broken off .
Its very common the wires come off because of rushed soldering at the factory . Williams EM games seem to have this problem the most .

I just noticed , i would tidy that other mess up too mate , The green, white and grey wires with the electrical tape.
