Hello everyone, first post I’m writing on here.
I bought a very well played Balley Heavy Metal Meltdown few months back.
Wouldn’t turn on and loads of problems when it did.
Finally got it booting up and playing as it should, soooo much fun to play.

So I’ve now started the restoration process….
I have a few inserts on it that have rubbed off their markings, score values and the main ‘Rock Again’ insert.
After advice really as I can’t see any decal replacements for this machine.

Also if anyone has worked on these or insert work in general it would be great to chat.
Many thanks.

Well the picture taken from the international space station doesn't really show which inserts are worn - but it is not too difficult to scan and create new on clear decal paper printed via laser printer. If the wording on the insert is in color or the letters are white, then you have to find a color laser printer or the special printer that can print white.

Xenon75 Hahaa yes sorry, was the only pic I had of it.
As you can see they’re either worn lettering or bubbles underneath.
Really want them new again.

The ‘Rock Again’ has a slight Mylar issue than can be sorted but would like to make sure I can get some sort of de cal for the insert.

I used the HP flatbed scanner to recreate the inserts on a Dungeon's and Dragons. Take the scan into photoshop or other tool clean it up with transparent backgrounds, print on clear decal paper using a laser printer. If it works well for you, you can even sell them to other owners.
