My sound board WAS working, but it was sort of flakey. if you would shake the machine at all, it would produce unpredictable events such as one constant tone, or no tones, or no back ground, and only some tones for objects, or some other indescribable noise. Anyway, I figured I'll replace the headers, which went okay, and they had C7 I belive with two 220uf caps piggy backed. So I removed them, and everywehre I saw online said to replace that cap, as well as C8 with 470uf 25V - I happen to have gotten at bunch of those for a rainy day such as this. The thing is, after i made those repairs, I plugged it all back in, and then the CPU board locked up at 5 flashes. I fiddled with that for a little while before I figured it had to be something to do with my changes to the sound board, since if I detach the sound board the game boots up fine. I looked at the back of the board, where I had soldered the headers, and it looks like maybe I had a small piece of conductive something- It didn't seem as heavy as solder, but whatever it was I scratched between the two leads on the header, and plugged it back together, now the game will boot fine with the sound plugged in, but it just doesn't make any. Other than a slight humm. I also tested the test points on the soundboard, and they all had 5 V or so, except for one that as like 12, Anyway, is this a connector problem? Maybe the commands aren't getting to the sound board?

Thanks for the help guys.
