I have an Embryon with a stripped set screw on the upper flipper. I was wondering how you prefer to get it out when it strips?

thanks,

My first attempt was to jam a drill bit in there and spin it out -- but that didn't work. I can't get one to catch just right.

Not able to grip it on the outside.

Hmmm, only have one size for wood -- don't have a drill bit style one.

Guess I could Dremel off the flipper. But that's real messy

what are the options here? I'd like to avoid dremeling the flipper off -- that's a lot of things to remove and dust to manage...

I don't appear to have a blade the perfect width to get traction inside the current rounded hole.

IDEA: dremel a notch in the set screw and use a flat head and unscrew it.

unfortunately, I went too deep, and pushed some material in front of the cut screw...

Do NOT mess with my dremel cutting wheel, you will lose!
