It looks like the top tip of the coil sleeve needs to be trimmed. Use a razor blade trim the plastic coil sleeve back to edge of the metal bracket with the circle indebtion it rests in. it’s limiting the downward travel from pulling in that extra centimeter to grab the next tooth.
