Flash Gordon Bally, 1981

I rebuilt the flippers on my FG & now the right flipper button also makes the "Da Da Da FLASH" sound vocalize every time you press it.

Some notes. Flipper Rebuild works fine no issues except now it triggers the "DA DA DA Flash" sound.

All boards in the machine are new except the Squawk Talk board.

Visual inspection of the flipper connections do not appear to have any shorts.

Other issues with the machine:
-Some of the bonus lights test fine at the fixture but do not light (bulbs are good)
-The top drop target pull down coil was dead when I got it & the new one I installed fried instantly.

Any thoughts what to check next?

Hi. Check the switch in the ball shooter lane...that switch being too close may be closing with right flipper vibrations. Owned my FG since 1982 and seen that before...

You were 100% correct. Adjusted the gap on the shooter lane switch a little wider & it stopped yelling "Da Da Da FLASH" when I press the right flipper.

You're welcome. EFG8101 has done that to me over the years...that's a tricky switch to keep gapped properly.
