Hello,

I own a Bally Fifa 94 pinball machine. I love to play it but I have a very annoying problem.
The right coil normally works like a charm but when the goalkeeper moves from left to right back and forth and the big ball starts to turn the right flipper coil gets very weak and sometimes doesn't move at all.
It looks like there the goal keeper and the big turning ball consume too much power so there is nothing left for the flipper coil. It also gets hotter then the other flipper coil.
I have no idea why this happens. Maybe someone of you knows this problem?

Interesting. I have a similar issue??

The diverter hold coil on my WCS seems to get weaker with each pop bumper activation. If the diverter is actuated and in the hold position, each pop causes the diverter to move back towards its spring-biased rest position and then the hold restores it back to the hold position. It basically flips back and forth.

Jeffc did you ever figure this out?

Not really. I shortened/weakened my diverter's spring so that it was strong enough to return the diverter, but weak enough that my seemingly-underpowered diverter hold was able to keep it in the engaged position.

I'm not sure I've even got the right spring in there. I have never seen an actual part # for that spring - in the manual, parts book, parts database, etc.
