In switch test mode, are any switches showing as closed (that shouldn't show closed)? Pull the balls out and make sure all the drop targets are up, or they will show up as closed.

Gotcha. I've had a ground short in the past that caused a row closure with the row that had a trough switch. It would end the ball as soon as it was ejected into the shooter lane.
