Bally, 1977Does anyone know the ldb J connector, pin and resistor # for the letter "R" on the lower part of the playfield that sits under the center target? My manual/schematic doesn't show it. I checked the manual on the IPDB and it's the same as mine, shows the one at the top but the lower one is missing.

Looks like "E" is shown twice at J3 pins 4 and 20. Without tracing it out I'd guess "R" is one of those.
I just looked at my game and in fact, the "R" you are asking about goes to J1 pin 28. Go figure! Is that what you get?
That very well could be it as I just tested the resistor at Q4 and it's bad, hence why the R doesn't light.

Pin 28 is an end pin of the connector. The ends are much more likely to get damaged than the middle it seems. Double check the connector male and female side.
The SCRs do not have a reliable power off DMM test that I am aware of besides dead short anode to cathode which would be always on lamp.
