I have been replacing all the board connectors on my EK while I have plenty of spare time. After replacing all of them, everything worked good except for the far right number on each display won’t light up. I tried changing the lamp driver board and have the same problem. Seems odd that all the numbers light up but one on each display. Any ideas? Thanks

this suggests a connection on the MPU is bad

were you replacing the header pins on the boards or the trifericon pins in the connectors ? ( or both )

will have to look at schematics to determine exactly which one to look at

I have put in all new boards over the past year. Was redoing the connectors since all the pins were new. I’ll check out what u sent. Thanks

Pin 1 on J1 on the mpu isn't making contact for some reason.

Lamp driver board has nothing to do with displays, controlled lamps only. Display driver circuitry is entirely on the mpu board (data and controls) and the power supply (power).

The 1s digit enable is J1-1 on the MPU, should be an 80, solid black, wire that goes to pin 4 on all the displays. If you repined that could be off.

Thanks for the help guys. I must have done something wrong on that crimp. I’ll check it when I get home and report back. I removed the connectors from each display one at a time per Kupla and that didn’t fix it.

You guys are great. I cut off the crimp terminal I put on J1-1 on the MPU yesterday and installed a new one, problem solved. Thanks again.
