So I’ve been working on getting a Bally Eight Ball machine back up and running. When I first put the top back on and plugged in all of the boards the game ran properly with most solenoids firing. All of the solenoids except for the chimes, outhole kicker, knocker and the side return kicker. My friend and I unplugged the wafer connectors that you can see in the first two images. We were going to turn it on and put a voltmeter to the pins to test for voltage. Before we were able to even test for voltage, we turned on the machine with those unplugged and suddenly the chimes and knocked fired. We plugged everything back in as the once were and now, the lights came back on but only the chimes and knocked fired still. Every other solenoid that was working before stopped. One of the things I am wondering about was possibly it could be pins on the transformer wafer cables. In the next three images you can see burnt pins on the connectors and some light burn marks on the male end too. Also the 20 pin connector had two nails stuck in two of the pins, both of which were burned out if I recal correctly although it might be only one. If anyone has any idea as to what happened it’d be much appreciated.

Quoted from KenLayton:

Don't forget the fuseholder & fuse under the playfield next to the flippers.

Already did that but it changed nothing
