Recently picked up a Bally "Dogies" (1968) and inside the cabinet, there is a small jones plug labeled "Add-a-ball kit" - and there is a 4 plug blank plugged into it.

I saw in an earlier post, this game is convertible from a "free replay" to a "free ball" I assume (if that's what the add-a-ball feature means?)

I've seen some games with the jones plug in the backbox, and you just pick one or the other and viola, it's done.

Is there / was there a "kit" to add to these machines, or am I missing something on how to handle this "option"? (Maybe a simple - "find the correct wire and plug it into where the blank is located" ?)

Can you still obtain the “kit”? What does it consist of ? Ease of install?
