Trying to fix Bally 6 digit. Transistors are M 585 33 E8C (motorola) I believe this transistor is not made anymore. Digikey gives a couple of options but I am not sure they are electrically equivalent. Can anyone provide a cross reference number to a currently produced transistor please?

585-33 =
MPSA42 or KSP42

585-32 =
MPSA92 or KSP92 or 2N5401

Typing this the fourth time ... finally got it right

The transistor types are listed in the schematics

MPSA42 and 2N5401 transistors are used depending on location.

Thank you so much Gentlemen. I will get these ordered and attempt to fix the displays. This information is greatly appreciated. Al

Thank you Scott, i may take you up on that offer. I ordered one from Pinball Medics in Ottawa. The display arrived with one segment missing. That is why we are troubleshooting. Mike at Pinball medics is sending another one. I have a couple displays that need repair. i figure the transistors and resistors are pretty cheap so I will try that first. Al
