Second player score display shows same info as the credit display. Alltek MPU, tried memory clear and result remains. Tried swapping displays and new ones, issue remains. Also tried swapping PIAs on MPU, issue remains.
Any ideas?

I saw that in Clay's guide, no issues with start button. Will try unplugging coin door completely, thanks for the tip.

Did more investigation today. Display latches on Alltek MPU (rev K) come from U10 (4 dplayer displays) and U11 (credit display). Checked for shorts between all latch signal paths at header, U12 (inverting buffer) outputs and inputs (fed from PIAs), and found no shorts. Tried swapping U10 PIA, no change. Yikes!
Tried memory clear again, no luck.
