Ive been attempting restoring a Cybernaut machine. I've replaced both lamp driver boards. There are two lamps broken that both happen to be labeled on the play-field as "Gate Open when Lit". One is on the outside left lane and the other is the first lamp at the entrance to the ramp/tube. In test-mode, one of them lights continuously and the other, only lights when I ground it. Neither flash as expected. When I review pinwiki and various lamp driver locations docs, I'm not seeing anything referencing gates.
