Hi All,

Im scratching my head on this. attached is the manual page of the jones plugs. Also attached is a pic of jones plugs (females). I can match up the "cabinet" plugs and the "panel" plugs and the "transformer" plugs and the "Door" plugs. But there is a female jones plug (12) in the middle. I do not have any other males plugs dangling anywhere. Any idea what this might be for? Am I missing something or is this for an option later down the road....

Also I am getting ready to power this thing up for the first time (since I have it), what I have done so far is
- re-soldered a loose wire
- re-soldered a broken wire
- replaced the power cord
- the power/toggle switch was tested for continuity
- lightly cleaned the stepper contacts, manually stepped up and manually reset each stepper
- all motors I was able to turn by hand and all mechanisms were moving freely
- I cleaned and loaded 8 balls

That plug isn't factory - guessing it is for the topper mechanism/mod that came with your game?

Quoted from smohr:

I'm curious.

5 empty female jones plugs in the backbox.

5 male jones plugs in your picture.

Doesn't that fill the empty spot ?

Any chance the payout parts of the game up front would run a cable back there and were removed with some of the gambling parts ?

Hey LTG, look at that second image and you'll see a single sided female plug nestled above and between the typical dual sided female plugs. That's the thing the OP is questioning. So there's six female plugs.

This particular game had an extra jackpot type system mounted on top of the head. Couple of lamps and a separate replay register (two coils, two switches). That female plug would support that feature.

Hi All,

Here is a better pic of that "mystery" plug. I searched thru this machine and I can't see anything that was possibly cut off (male plug) that would attach to this. All the wires coming from that topper are connected to something. So for now I think Im moving onto other things in this machine and come back to this at some point. I will trace the wires from the topper and try to figure out what each is connected to. Unless someone has another thought.

Next "topic".. It's alive....

Thanks for you thoughts and assistance
