Problem could be in the Bonus Unit Stepup solenoid, or in the Bonus Advance relay circuit. To tell which it is, try clipping an Alligator clip jumper wire on the yellow wire on terminal 8 on the transformer and tapping the other end on the Blue&Red wire on the Bonus Unit Stepup solenoid coil
