The game plays but the playfield lamps are off. The playfield lamps flash on each time points are scored in the A and B bonus chutes at the top of the playfield but immediately go back off. The same player light on the playfield stays illuminated all the time.

Check Jones plugs for GI, and this Extra Ball sw. for the Same Player lite.

Thanks for the tips but no luck. The playfield lamps only light when the advance bonus lanes are scored. And the bonus stops advancing at 4000.
I'd look at the circuit that controls the general illumination on the playfield. Check the two 15 amp fuses on the fuse blocks with white/green wires. Confirm the fuses are good and that they're tightly seated in the fuse blocks.

Not a fuse. I would check the area underneath for a short. Push down on the RO while the PF is up and see what hits or stops hitting.
What advances bonus on A and B, the ROs or the star buttons?
