Dear Forum,

I have a problem with my Capersville.

After cleaning the play field, renewing rubbers and lamps, the following problem appeared:

The motor is always running and one counter is always switching.

After putting coins in the slot, there is a reset of all score reels and then the motor starts running and does not stop.

At the moment I have no idea to get a handle to solve this.

Greetings
Thomas

Mate,
Guess in the dark. Is it the ball count unit. It may have a zero position switch that is dirty or not operatiing correctly. Check to see if there is one. Or during your pf work, is there a pf switch stuck on?

Yes, you were right.

It was the pf switch at the 4-exit alley.

Next problem is that the Zipperflippers do not close.

Maybe a coil problem, I have to investigate.

Thank you
Thomas

Well, there seems to be a more serious problem.

The resistance of the coil which should zip the bats is 2 Ohms and the fuse is blowing (

Does anybody has data about this coil?

Think I have to wind it...

You should be able to get a replacement coil from Marco or pbresource

Those zipper flipper coils can be hard to come by. Good luck with it!

from Planetary Pinball, here is the zipper flipper page (or flipper zippers, per Bally) from the 1969 Bally Parts Catalog. The assembly is a little different for Capersville, so read the notes http://www.planetarypinball.com/reference/partsmanuals/BLY_Parts_1969/index.html#/132/
