Hi.

I ordered the Mylar Playfield Inserts from eBay.

I am scraping off the bad inserts and prepping them for the Mylar version.

What grit sandpaper should I use to complete my prep? I used a razor knife to scrape off the old inserts. I believe my next step should be sanding the inserts. But I am not sure what grit is ideal.

Any suggestions?

You have the inserts out of the field?

No. The inserts are still embedded in the playfield. I'm not planning on removing them from the playfield. This game is not going to be a collector game. I just wanted to replace the inserts.

So my plan was to take some sandpaper and sand down the remaining decal remnants.

I'm hoping to create a clean foundation for the new inserts.

You mean the Playfield insert decals.

You mean you just want to redo the insert artwork with new decals.
