I'm not sure of the rarity of the decals, just had not found any in a cursory interweb search so I have started to create my own repops. As im not a pro with Photoshop or Illustrator, for me it is VERY painstaking!
Quoted from 1979wade:measure the length of the plastic on the lift ramp
182mm long side x 179mm short side
35mm and 55mm for the flap ends
Quoted from Quench:dimensions of the two blue metal pieces on each end of the plastic and the centre stainless steel guide that the crank pin slides
I should be able to get you those in the morning lest someone else advise before that.
You didn't mention the bracket, I measured it while I was at it.
Let me know if I missed any key dimension you need.
Quoted from DS_Nadine:replaced the GI lightbulbs with LED
Holy S, that really looks great. I love the PF toward the rear, it really looks like it is underwater.
I want to steal that concept, what lights did you use?
Can someone shed some light on these circled lamps? The playfield lamp location drawing I have does not shows these (am I just blind), I know some of them are clearly stated to be "BBOX" but there is no drawing for the BB lamps?
I'm trying to trouble shoot my last little issues while I await my wireforms to be returned and these items have me stumped.
Thanks for your input!!
Quoted from Inkochnito:What is it you want to know?
Thanks Peter, I'm looking for a back box lamp illustration just like the one for the PF so I can physically find the lamps circled.
That is eg. lamp # 36 is "here" ...
For when I am in single lamp test, the one circled don't make any lamps illuminate on my machine. Are they perhaps superfluous on the matrix and don't actually exist in the game?
Quoted from Inkochnito:I think you will have to map them out yourself.
That's what I was afraid of. Thanks for your input!
From my recent restore, note these are BEFORE pics.
Quoted from wayout440:there's 2 GI and I think also 2 red GI in that far back left corner.
Sadly, I don't recall if I made one for Atlantis or not, but Marco sells the spring steel that is used for ramps. I have made ramps for other machines, using tin snips for cutting and a bench grinder for beveling.
You might reach out to Freeplay40 he does many ramps and can perhaps provide you more insight.
Quoted from Blackbeard:Does the popper screw into the plunger?
If I recall correctly, Yes, and the two nuts tighten together to prevent undesired adjustment.
In the image the two nuts are lowered, but in operation one nut is tightened to the plunger shaft putting pressure on it, the second nut is tightened to the first nut to put pressure on it. This pressure should prevent both up and down movement.
Quoted from Blackbeard:I haven't taken it apart, but i'm wondering if the "plunger assembly" spins into the coil plunger, increasing or decreasing the height. Or if the two are welded together?
It should be threaded to allow for proper adjustments. Again, just going from memory, and what appears to be a threaded shaft seen on that part diagram.
Quoted from Shenanigander:2600 is OG for sure but 7800 is awesome too!
I never had the pleasure, I held onto my 2600 (well still have it actually) and jumped to the first NES about 2 years after it was released.
Slow to upgrade!
Quoted from slochar:Are you planning on making the sub as well?
I don't even have Atlantis anymore but would be in on one of these!
Quoted from ScoobaDoo:Is it a ground?
That is indeed a ground.
Can't tell from pics where it goes but the plastic on it makes me think it's the coin door ground strap.
If no one else replies, I'll check my Atlantis pics In the morning.
Quoted from Atari_Daze:Can't tell from pics where it goes but the plastic on it makes me think it's the coin door ground strap.
Here is one of my before images, can't quite see where on the coin door but it is the door grounding strap.
20180205_195432 (resized).jpgQuoted from ScoobaDoo:Would this be associated with my broke ass coin door?
I don't think so but might be wrong. Haven't worked on a 6803 in a while.
Obvious question though is Are you certain that switch is actually closing?
Quoted from danczaz:Pinball decals EU
Had no issues.

Quoted from mad_carl:Just curious if anyone has or can scan that center drop target plastic for me?
Are you talking about this one?
