I have a 1989 ballys and outhole will work then not . kind of has a mind of its own. anyone have any suggestion, sounds like maybe a ground issue ? bumpers sometimes have issues also, work then fail ? please help

Do you have a meter?
Do you have voltage at the coil when it does not work?
Does the switch pass the switch test?
for me its a bad connector.i had similar trouble on my d&d and new molex connector fix it.search where is your connector for outhole or connector for your coil.

I had the same issue and it also turned out to be the female IDC connection at the MPU.
