I have a Bally Rolling Stones pin. The sounds are all there but they are wrong. I burned a new sound rom and checked all socketed IC's with a known good working
board. There's no issues there. I'm staring to lean on the U6 prom file. Typically when this prom goes, you'll get static or tinny sounds. I'm not getting that, just
wrong sounds. Anyone ever have a problem like mine and swapped the prom and all was well?

I changed the 4049, LM339 and all socketed IC's were swapped with known working ones. Still I get mostly wrong sounds. Typically if a prom goes bad I get
no sound or tinny sounds. Not getting that so the prom should be good. Barakandl suggested it may have to do with my header pins. I resoldered but same
result. I'm going to replace the header pins tonight and retry. Sometimes those pins don't make good connection with age.

I know it's the sound board. I bought a repro board and it works so the mpu and connector pins are fine. I'll report back after installing pins.

Fixed. The main header pins apparently were not providing good conductivity. I soldered in new header pins and problem solved.
