I have a bally city slicker that wont start a game. It boots into attract mode fine and it has all the balls it needs but it wont start at all. Where do I start to look on this?

use switch test to make sure it really sees the balls in the trough. 6803 games, or at least the few i messed with, dont give a missing ball message. They just refuse to start.
Good idea to clear out the RAM too. You might have a bad value stored in the credit audit or something like that.
To reset the RAM on a Bally 6803 game:
Hit "Test", to enter operator mode.
Hit "A" until "Feature Options" is displayed.
Hit Enter.
It will say "Reset Factory Is".
Hit 6, then 5, then Enter.
Hit "Game" to return to attract mode. You'll know it worked because it will take longer than usual to reach attract mode, and the display will flicker slightly as the computer clears the memory (this is normal).

This. Had the same issue on my dungeons and dragons. This worked.
