I'm looking to replace/repair my Bally displays. I've already upgraded resistors, and reflowed pins, and between my 2 games I can get 1 good set, +1 extra. So, that leaves me with 4 displays that are gassed.
From my research, it seems my options are:
#1) order 4 new glass at around $50 or more each & hope they work well when you solder them in place.

#2) order a set (5) from Rottendog for around $200, no adjustable brightness, comes with a film.

#3) order a set (5) from X-pins for about $325 adjustable brightness & quality gasket.

I guess #1 would be original. #2 seems like a good value.

Any thoughts or experiences would be helpful.
    Thanks!

Have you considered replacing outgassed ones with LEDs?

I haven't tried this but thought it is useful.

    Interesting.
However it seems more labor intensive than just purchasing new glass, & has to be around the same price with all the parts.

Not sure where you're getting your prices for XPin, unless you're looking at a color other than orange. Even then you're about $50 off.

I can sell you individual PinScore displays, or a set if five in original orange for $229.

    Ok, good to know. Thanks.
