Rally, 1967Using PinWiki I changed out Q2 and Q8 supporting transistors along with the IC as I had some handy laying around. None of this made a difference. I even moved the display to another spot and the problem moved with the display. This should be cut and dry but I must be missing something. Any ideas?
Usually if you're missing only a digit, check the 100k resistor for that one. Likely it will be out of spec, as in much higher than the other 100k resistors on the board.

Which one?
They are close to the glass display. I don't have a drawing with me. Just use your ohmmeter to test all the resistors in that row. You can compare the same resistor colors to the other ones.
Truthfully, I don't know. I had the resistors, so I just replaced them all for a few cents out of pocket.
