    My son used the plunger assembly from my Gay 90's for a physics assignment. We built a little jig to hold it and fired a pinball. His project was to compute the angle required to hit a target (projectile motion).

    The height off the floor was 0.83m so it takes about 0.41s to hit the ground fired from level. The ball travelled about 1.7m horizontally in that time. That's about 4m/s or 9 miles an hour! In case you ever were wondering...
