Quoted from Bos98:What do you want for it and was it working prior to being disassembled?
I was told it was working but I was not there so no idea. Also don’t even know what to ask for it as I don’t know anything about them. Just the fact that I don’t have the room and I’m not keeping it.
As a buyer of a ball bowler, its always best to assume it needs a full mechanical restoration, UNLESS you can play a full 6 player game. Every ball bowler I've bought the seller stated it was working before being sidelined, and of course it just needed to have the contacts cleaned. Each & every one needed all sorts of work.
As a seller of a ball bowler, unless you can present buyers with an operational machine, you're just blowing smoke.
Cosmetically, this bowler needs lots of work. Lots! The upper/lower backglass appear to be fairly good.
Pluses of this ball bowler. Its a 16 1/2' bowler. The big one. The switches, score motor & steppers look reasonably clean. Formica is dirty but appears it will clean up reasonbly good.
Minuses of this ball bowler. Unknown mechanical condition. Needs substancial cosmetic attention.
My $.02 worth opinion on worth. $400 - $700 Maybe go a bit higher if you really really want a big ball bowler.
I am going to try and set this up in the driveway today and see if it works. I have to call some help over as I can’t lift it myself. As is today before setting it up I would take 700.00 I have 2 offers on it already. One for 500.00 and another for 550.00. I am not trying to get rich of this. Just would like to break even on it. Thanks.
I’ll give you 700 for it. I had a majestic that I bought off of Scott Weir a year ago. It sat in my garage because I had no where to set it up. Sold it to fat dirk so he could put it at Madcap Brewery. I just signed on to supply games to Birdfish Brewrey in Columbiana and now need one.
