I bought the BSD alternative translite from MoP earlier this year. I wasn't overly impressed with the quality, although it's not terrible. Decided I prefer the original. So I sold the translite on at a loss and that was the end of it.
I have used MoP before and after buying the translite and have always been happy with the service.
I agree that this thread should be a warning about buying alternative translites, not a slur against MoP.
