Just a quick question. I just got my bad girls working today which I'm quite stoked about. The only thing I'm curious about is the "8 ball" drop target. It works and resets on power up and all that, but when I start a game it stays down. Is this normal, or is there a dip switch for this setting somewhere? I didn't get a manual with it and haven't bought one yet.

Also, if anyone has taken out the flouro tube in the backbox and replaced it with led strip, do you have a pic to share?

Here's a thread about replacing the bulb with an LED tube. You'll need to rewire the fixture to bypass the starter.

In our game the 8 droptarget is up when starting a game. You have to shoot it down before you can get multiball. Send me a PM with your email address if you want to have the PDF.

Maybe there is something wrong with the coil which trips the droptarget. It might be permanently engaged due to a defective transistor (Q30 - L29) or there might be a mechanical issue with the mechanism which trips the droptarget.
