PAPA camera angle is as good as it gets. I also like the crisp sound of the pin being played with the glass off (but some of those have to be uncomfortable to play like that, like the Bally pins where the glass, frame, and built-in lockbar all come off together).

To me the absolute worst is when they play music over the sounds of the machine or cut away just before the Collect Bonus. ‘London Pinball’ is my go-to for good videos on YouTube.

So you're complaining about videos you're watching for free, but haven't filmed any yourself?

Just trying to make sure I'm understanding where you're coming from.

I would link you to some videos I've shot but I'm sure you've already seen some and decided they're sub-par.

I love the show/collection walk-around videos, but 90% of the time they move too quickly and give me a headache.

Still doesn’t mean that some videos on there don’t suck. Maybe it’s just an observation.

Cracks me up when people get their feathers up whenever someone states an opinion. Kind of what makes life interesting, being able to pick and choose things you like and things you don’t.

My buddie Sam Harvey, he has taught me most everything i know about pinball.

He has a classy shooter reflex action and very polite reaction to drains-'thank you'! My reaction is generally unprintable.

Man, you speak my sentiments exactly. You did miss a couple, though.

You missed the photographer who is trying to act like he is a video game trying to come in at mouse level and follow the ball around the table. Down low and up close.

And the one moves the camera up to the score reel/ display so you get to see the points roll up but you don't get to see how the ball is moving to get those points.

I agree. The one handed player is the worst. And right behind is the kid with dad as movie maker turning it into the equivalent of a pinball home movie.

It is only very rarely that I can watch TNT telling me this or that about a pin.

I have been lucky that every pin I was shopping for had a decent video that I could watch before I went on the chase.

You can put me in the same camp as the OP. I have not put up any videos yet because I don't have all of the equipment at this time. And I don't want to torture anybody with a crappy vid.

I know what I like to watch and figure most everybody else is the same. I don't care if the video is shot from the side of the pin as if I were a spectator standing at the side. The PAPA vids are cream of the crop with a fixed camera and good lighting. My preference is for the camera to be in the player's position but that is hard to do, so the spectator standing at the side works well.

I appreciate anybody who has taken the effort to upload a pin vid. But those one-handed, no-tripod vids, or the ones where you trying to make a movies star of your kid are a waste of my time and I feel like I have been click baited.

If your videos are fixed camera with decent lighting then link them. You don't have to be a great player. You just have to make the pin the star of the show.
