I recommend #44 incandescent lamps.

Quoted from Blackbeard:I own one that I restored. And I find it a snooze fest.
It depends on what you compare it to. Sure, with no multiball or other fancies it does not compare to latest games. But then it is over 30 years old. What feels like snooze fest for you, might be a pretty fast game for us folks that learned pinball in the 70's.
And the cat theme is just great!
When power is on, CMOS RAM gets its voltage from +5V line via D1. When power is off, CMOS RAM is powered by battery via D2, while D1 prevents battery voltage going to +5V circuits, which would drain battery very fast.
So, if your settings stay OK as long as power is on, D1 is probably OK (or at least not open). And if they fail while power off, either D2 is open or there is no connectivity between battery + and D2, or battery - and ground.
Check voltage between D1/D2 connection and ground - you should see almost 5V when power on, and almost battery voltage when power off. (Even if D2 is normal silicon diode, the RAM current is so small that D2 threshold voltage is much lower than the nominal 0.6 volts)

Only use your multimeters connectivity (tone) check between circuit points that should be connected to each other, with power off and battery removed. Not between battery + and battery - for example, because they are not supposed to be connected together and a live battery in circuit will confuse the meter.
The center post is visible in the flyer, so I guess it is standard. An yes, even with the post installed, sometimes a fast drain makes it through to shooter without triggering outhole switch.
The motor may be overheated and burnt, if the resistor got in so bad shape. Remove motor connector and check motor ohms with a multimeter. Both should be approximately the same - I guess about 10-20 ohms.
Marco has those in catalog, but currently not in stock. https://www.marcospecialties.com/pinball-parts/14-7954
Quoted from SilverUnicorn:563 is Black Knight 2000
575 IS Bad Cats. So if that board is original, then the serial number looks like it would in fact be 371
Chris
Doesn't the sticker read 573 and not 563? It would be from Police Force then.
