had some wiring / shorting issues and figured them out but i had some casualties. one of the transistors burnt the board and i tried replacing the transistor but probably made it worse before i try again i wanted to check if theres some good technique

Scrape away as much of the carbon from the burn as it is necessary to eliminate any conductivity between pads for the part.
