I build in Australia and love these threads as it shows the differences in how we build.
Down here concrete slabs require a sand base and a plastic liner under the concrete. We have to use "bar chairs"to hold the mesh up, no bricks allowed!!
The rebate/step around the edge of the slab is a lot bigger than what is shown.
We have to put foam around any pipes penetrating the slab.(This allows the concrete to move and not affect the pipe.)

NOT picking just find it interesting the differences. Good luck with the build!!

Are you putting external structural plywood to top level walls to act as a brace? You might nor need to do the entire length of walls but rather one sheet on each side of corner.

Might be an idea to hire or borrow from your steel guy a magnetic drill to drill the holes where you are fixing walls to steel beam. Before you lift the wall frames, drill holes then lift frames and drill the bottom plate from underneath.

Magnet drill should "stick" through the sheet flooring, or it might fit within the beam on the outside.

You don't want to drill a those holes the traditional way!

RE plywood bracing, without knowing the finish on the inside, you can put plywood on the inside of the walls. Plywood really stops movement a lot better than metal bracing in my opinion.

(In Australia nearly all corners require ply bracing)

GRK R8 screws for the win. Can't get them in Australia, have to import through Amazon.

    Looking good.

How much to have a crane truck deliver sheets to the top of the roof? Seriously is a pain pushing sheets up that high. Otherwise three people. Two on roof with ropes, to pull sheets up and one on the ground floor to tie the ropes around each end of each sheet.

If using spray foam , for the love of god put additional power points etc as no hope of running cables in the future!!

Just a quick tip, if the metal clad door is like the ones we have in Australia, make sure you seal the edges with a suitable sealant, as well around the door knob to the outside. Water eventually gets in and rots them out from the inside.

    Looking good!!

Chosen_S, I actually meant the door itself, if it is like the ones down under the metal cladding will have a seam on the top of the actual door. It there is a seam, seal it with a suitable caulk, likewise seal the rose around the door handle.

Trust me I have changed dozens of metal clad doors and they are a real PIA as you can't plane them etc.

    Once again looking good

Be careful with the grout as it gets into the pores of the brick panelling face and discolors it/makes hard to get out. Try getting a mortar caulk that matches. Easier in MY opinion.

How much did the glass panel weigh?
As a window maker looks like a fair effort!
